Our Founder

The late Overseer Juanita Chiles remains an indelible figure as the visionary founder of Bible Believers Pentecostal Church of God, Inc. Her spiritual odyssey began with a transformative experience at the tender age of 18, when she received the sacred gift of the Holy Ghost under the guidance of the late Elder Zebedee Tremble. The divine call to ministry resounded in her heart in 1973, culminating in her consecration as an Evangelist within the Church of God Militant Pillar Ground of Truth organization.

Throughout her life's journey, Pastor Chiles exemplified unwavering commitment, faithfully serving under the mentorship of the late Bishop Cornelius Price. Her multifaceted roles, ranging from church secretary and choir member to nurse, usher, and President of various congregational groups, showcased her dedication. She extended her ministry to encompass leadership positions such as President of the Pastor's Aide, youth choir, and missionary endeavors. Ascending through the ranks, she eventually assumed the mantle of Assistant Pastor. In April 1991, her steadfast dedication culminated in her ordination as Pastor.

In the year 2000, a pivotal moment arrived, prompting Pastor Chiles to transition from a supportive role to a divinely appointed mission. Responding to divine instruction, she founded Bible Believers Pentecostal Church of God Incorporated, marking a testament to her unyielding faith. In October 2001, Overseer Chiles was anointed by Apostle Sylvia Toney, assuming the esteemed position of Overseer for Bible Believers Pentecostal Church of God Inc.

Overseer Chiles' life journey was interwoven with that of her devoted husband, the First Man Bro Robert Chiles, spanning more than five decades. Their enduring bond bore the fruit of three daughters—Sharon, Adriane [Eddie], and Crystal [Terrance]—and a lasting legacy carried forth by four grandchildren: Anna, Juanita, Robyn, and Terrance Jr. Outside the church sphere, First Man Bro Chiles demonstrated unwavering commitment, nurturing a profound connection with the late Bishop Price while wholeheartedly supporting his wife's ministerial path. Embracing the BBP Family in 2001 and receiving the Holy Ghost in 2005, his life exemplified the qualities of a dedicated family man, marked by responsibility, wisdom, and a willingness to assist those in need.
